What do you do when you have three guys in their mid-20s who don't have the funds, knowledge or wherewithal to make their hopes of starting their own brewery a reality? That's right, you start a blog!
Same thing right? Well, we like to think so. And who knows, this could be the thing that leads to the next thing that leads to that future brewery being started. Much like brewing beer, these things take time!
Anyway, here's what you need to know about us -- We like beer. There is a constant stream of texts, known simply as the "Brew Text," in which the four of us talk beer, and rarely anything else, on a daily basis.
Carl is a West Virginia University alumni currently living in Philadelphia. Eric, also a Philly native, attended the University of Pittsburgh. Mark, an MCPHS (Boston) grad, is taking care of things in New England as he currently lives in Connecticut, which we have just recently realized is a hotbed for some incredible brews.
With all of us currently based in the northeast, we have access to some of the best beers in the world. Not only are both Philadelphia and the entire state of Connecticut solid distribution areas, but some of the most well-known breweries are right within reach.
We have already taken a number of fantastic trips to various locations and we plan on documenting more of them as they happen so everyone can be apart of the journey as well!
It can only get better from here and we will keep you up to date on all the goings on in our beer world!
